Golden Ocean prioritizes the production of superior quality fish products and take extreme quality control measures to ensure that our customers are always served with supreme quality and safe products.

Our in-house laboratory team of qualified and experienced Quality Controllers continuously check and audit every step of our processing line.

The following controls are some but not limited to the quality assurance procedures that are practiced:


 

  • Training on Quality assurance procedures
  • Performance of Sensory analysis at each receiving point
  • Histamine and microbiological analysis tests
  • Listeria testing kit
  • Microbial testing on environment samples

Both our Fresh and Frozen samples are also sent for comparative analysis to an independent and accredited laboratory at the University of the South Pacific and/or New Zealand on a monthly and quarterly basis respectively.

Our in-house laboratory’s supplies and equipment are sourced from Biomedix, USA whom we also use for consultation.
